We are happy to announce that the Monad Alpha Test will begin on 4 January 2021. If you haven't applied yet, there is still time to do so on the Sign-Up page. We are happy to accept enthusiastic players who are prepared for the usual alpha stability issues, bugs, and imperfect gameplay that one can expect for a game at this stage.
Monad is not another casual time-drain. The ambition is for Monad to be a complex strategy game played in the browser, where players are able to seamlessly colonize planets across the galaxy, set up logistics flows, buy/trade stock in each others' companies, and all the conventional 4X things: Explore, Expand, Exploit, and Exterminate.
